Food Safety!
A Beef Traceability System is in place to ensure the quality of the cows and to prevent the spread of diseases such as bovine spongiform encephalopath (BSE) or foot and mouth disease. This traceability system ensures a quick response if there should be any outbreak.

In order to enable Beef Traceability System, each cattle that is born in Japan is required to take part in the Individual Cattle Identification Register.

Wagyu needs to be Born in Japan,
Raised in Japan and Slaughtered in Japan!
About Miyazaki Beef

Our meat is from Miyazaki, an area in south of Japan on the island of Kyushu.
Miyazaki Beef has won the last two National Wagyu Competitive Exhibition back to back, held every five years, otherwise known as the National Wagyu Olympics.
